Although I don’t want to spend my time fishing all day, I do like this quote because it contrasts life before and after FIRE.
Most people are not in their dream job. It may be because the dream job does not pay much. Or because it is difficult to get. Or maybe because a dream job does not exist – everything gets boring if you have to do it for a living.
Either way, most people are not happy with their jobs. And it is also a big reason for a lot of people to get started on the path to FI.
This quote mentions that even a good day at a job is no match for a day spent doing what you want to do.
