This quote, I think, is particularly applicable to me.
After I reached FI, I decided to continue working. There is nothing wrong with quitting your job after FI. In fact, that is what many people do. I think I will do that also, eventually. But for now, I am using my FI superpower to get the best work-life balance possible.
This quote also means that some people decide to retire before they reach retirement age. At least, they retire from a traditional job. Instead, they may take up a different job or do something that does not pay any money.
Either way, there is nothing that says you have to quit your job after you get to FI. That is the beauty of Financial Freedom – you have the freedom to do what you want!
